Mike Denbrock has spent 37 years developing people—quarterbacks, tight ends, young men who will tell you long after football is over that he believed in them first. Dianne has been alongside every single stop. Buffalo. Stanford. Washington. Indiana State. Cincinnati. LSU. Notre Dame, three times.
In 2011, their son Chance arrived. They'll tell you his name was never an accident.
Coming home to Notre Dame for the third time, they decided to make permanent what they'd always done naturally. The 2nd Chance Foundation 4 Life is built for the four causes closest to them—childhood cancers, men's and women's health, veterans, and autism support.
The Next Play
In football, the next play is everything. Whatever just happened on the field—a touchdown or a turnover—the only thing that matters is what you do next.
We believe the same is true in life.
Some people are stuck on the last play—a diagnosis, a setback, a system that didn't give them a fair shot. The 2nd Chance Foundation 4 Life exists to help them huddle up, look forward, and run the next one.
